Why didn't we rebuild the Twin Towers, except make them 10 floors taller?
That would be a memorial that would really mean something. It would say that if destroy a symbol of this nation is such a dramatic fashion that we will build it back bigger and better.

I agree with that 100%. I am not a big fan of sites that memorialize the US getting smacked. I like the the idea of thumbing our nose at them.
The Pearl Harbor memorial is called Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
Assess blame for 9-11 and leave a ten mile wide crater there.
"10 floors taller"
I'll second that motion. What better place to honor men and women whose only "crime" was going to work every day to support their families, than to build someplace where people can go to work every day to support their families? That idea appeals to me much.
There should be some sort of rememberance area, or memorial spot, with the names of the victims.. but over all, flexing the muscles of American resolve and capitalist success is the best finger we can shoot the viscious bastards that did this.

Yes, let's put that on the roof.
Thats a great idea---taller and stronger than before. And keep bombing those mountains in Afghanistan until its as flat as Kansas!!
All great ideas. Can't add much except let's start building yesterday!
And this time make sure the asbestos insulation goes all the way to the top floor.
