No more public input on federal fishery strategy

From an article on ESPN:
The Obama administration will accept no more public input for a federal strategy that could prohibit U.S. citizens from fishing the nation's oceans, coastal areas, Great Lakes, and even inland waters.

I guess if you don't like the input you are receiving you just quit accepting it.

Seems that this administration is taking it's direction from a number of anti-hunting and anti-fishing organizations.

Go read the article.

I suppose fishermen need a more powerful lobby in Washington. Many on the left often forget the hundreds of millions in revenue the various states take in from hunting and fishing licenses. It is the hunter and the fisherman who protect wildlife more than any environmentalist groups. We love the outdoors and value the game found there and will do almost anything to protect it for our children who will hope will follow us with fishing pole and hunting rifle.
