AZ type illegal immigration law in Texas?

I hope for it.

There was one funny/sad/silly quote from the article by a guy named Peter Johnson, of the Peter Johnson Institute of Non-Violence. I've never heard of this guy or his supposed organization before and I don't care enough to look into it. Now for the quote:
"What I say to the African-American community: If they come in the morning for brown-skinned people, and we remain silent, they may come in the evening for us,"
How is that for a thinly veiled attempt to link the idea of stopping unlimited illegal immigration to the Nazis?

If you are a little slow this morning here is a link to explain that to you.

All I have to say to you, Peter Johnson, is that if you are here illegally then I hope someone comes and gets you and sends you back home.

Unfortunately, I don't think that kind of law has a chance of passing in Texas.

I consulted with the Paladin Center for Race Relations and Backyard Gardening earler today. They said that the Peter Johnson Institue for Non-Violence sucks. They don't even have a basketball team - what kind of institute is that?

I think most people in Texas would support a State law banning illegal immigration... strike that. I'd better say most LEGAL CITIZENS in Texas would support such a law. The recent polls sure support that assertion. I think the national poll would show even higher support, if people in states farther away from the border had some clue about how bad the situation really is.

Be interesting to see how the protest march goes in Dallas this weekend, and if its as non-violent as previous ones. I'm planning to be far away from there, myself.
