My wife called and said we have another bobcat in the trap. She said this one is bigger than the first. Maybe we're getting to the heart of the matter. If I can take out the more experienced predators then maybe any remaining yearlings will be easier to catch.
At this rate I may end up with enough to make a coat.

Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment. Yes, I killed it. I'm not entirely sure I would want to open the trap with a live bobcat in it. After having them kill four of my ducks and at least six chickens I was not in a forgiving mood.
I have no doubt there are plenty more where that one came from.
