I left my dog in the car while running into the lumber yard where I worked to pick up my paycheck. I failed to set the brake sufficiently, and Cujo the Wonder Dog knocked the car out of gear and it rolled harmlessly across the parking lot and rolled to a stop near the fence for the yard. <br /><br />The Assistant manager paged me over the store intercom system: <i>"Would [my real name] please come to the Yard Office... your dog is trying to steal your car."</i> :)<br /><br />Re: Lesson #2 - Very good rule. Its one that I have to follow closely too, 'cuz my usual summer carry method is an inside the front pocket rig.
